Old Home Days Hobo Breakfast

By Valerie Britton - The Troy Cheshire RR Depot Commission hosted a Hobo Breakfast at the depot during Old Home Day weekend on July 25, 2009.  The menu consisted of hobo pita pockets filled with eggs, sausage, hash browns and cheese.  Hobo Judy Hall made delicious donuts over an open fire and also brewed coffee over the hot flames. Fast Friends Greyhound Adoption joined the fun. They brought three beautiful greyhounds and set up a booth near the railroad corridor for a “Tails to Trails” meet and greet. To learn more about Fast Friends Greyhound Adoption click here.

The depot plans on participating in Old Home Days 2010 and has already starting planning our next surprise.
